Coinbase

Coinbase is a crypto platform. Export your transaction history and import it into Metrifly — the format is recognised automatically — or link Coinbase directly with a read-only API key.

Direct link available

On the Coinbase Add holdings page, choose Direct account link to sync with a read-only API key instead of uploading exports.

Export your transactions

1. Go to coinbase.com and click your account icon in the top-right.
2. Click your name to open your profile.
3. In the left menu, choose Account statements (near the bottom).
4. Download a pre-generated CSV transaction export, or create a custom CSV export.

The file is a CSV.

Import into Metrifly

Go to Transactions → Add Holdings, select Upload a file, and upload your file. Metrifly recognises the Coinbase format, maps the columns automatically, and previews the trades it found. Review the mapping, then click Import. See Import your trade history from a file for the full walkthrough.

Note

Prices are in EUR; Metrifly normalises crypto transactions to USD internally. Send, Receive, and Convert rows are excluded because they cannot be represented as single trades. Staking income and airdrops in the export are imported as income (staking reward / airdrop) automatically.
